Morelia has an international airport with many direct flights to Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Las Vegas and Chicago. Other cities with many flights are Tijuana, Monterrey and Mexico City. Airlines that flight to Morelia are: Mexicana, Aeromexico, Aviacsa, Aeromar and Continental. Many other have share code flights with these.
There is also an excellent 1st class bus service to Morelia from Mexico City, Guadalajara and many other big cities with international airports. The best bus line is ETN (www.etn.com.mx).
Within the City short taxi rides are 3 dollars and between the airport and the city center a taxi is about $25 usd. From the bus terminal a taxi is about $7.
